The formal announcement of the call for papers for the 7th IACSS World Congress 2009 can be found at http://www.ausport.gov.au/about/events/iacss2009/submissions Submissions (Abstracts, Papers, Posters and Workshops) Closing Dates for Submissions Submissions close on Friday 28 February, 2009. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email or mail by 30 March, 2009. Authors' registration closes 30 April, 2009. Language We are seeking presenters who are able to submit papers/posters and deliver presentations in English. Presentation Formats Abstracts, papers and presentation (i.e. slides, video clips, electronic documents, and other multi-media assets) must be produced and submitted electronically, either via email or via mail on a recordable medium. Presenters are requested to use well known industry formats and standards when creating their presentations. Poster Formats Poster presentations are wlecome. Posters must be presented in portrait (not landscape) format no larger than 100cm wide x 150cm high. If you wish to submit a poster, please outline and briefly describe your concept on the Submission Form. All poster submissions will undergo an evaluation and selection process similar to that of presentation submissions. Presentation Requirements Presentations are not to exceed 20 minutes and should include at least 5 minutes for questions and responses from the audience. Presenters (especially keynote presenters) are able to request extended presentation durations provided the topic demands it (please indicate your requirements on the Submission Form).
